There are some people you trust because of what they’ve accomplished. Then there are those you trust because you’ve watched the way they’ve lived. Dr. Jon Russell is both.

Jon and I share a rich heritage in ministry, having both been mentored by the late Pastor J. Don George. Those years gave us a common foundation that has shaped our lives and ministries. Through the years, I’ve had the privilege of watching Jon lead with humility, wisdom, and unwavering faithfulness.

After decades of serving as a pastor, Jon understands ministry from the inside. He knows the weight leaders carry, the difficult decisions they face, and the loneliness that can sometimes accompany the call. That’s why I believe his transition into coaching and consulting is such a natural one. He’s not stepping into something new as much as he’s expanding what he’s been doing for years—encouraging leaders, speaking truth with grace, and helping others become healthier and more effective.
